RAMP LAB LICENSE TERMS

Last updated: November 2026

1. PROVIDER AND SCOPE
1.1 These terms govern the use of the software "Ramp Lab", including updates, presets and documentation (the "Software"), provided by Timo Hönig, Volksfeststraße 20/8, 4020 Linz, Austria, VAT ID ATU79241624, email office@timohoenig.com (the "Provider").
1.2 The Software is sold through Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC) as reseller ("Merchant of Record"). Purchase, payment, invoicing and refunds are additionally governed by Lemon Squeezy's terms. These terms govern the use of the Software.
1.3 By activating or using the Software you accept these terms.

2. LICENSE
2.1 You receive a simple, non-transferable, perpetual right to use the Software for your own private and commercial video productions – including work for your clients.
2.2 A license is for one person and may be active on up to 2 computers at the same time. Each activation is bound to its computer and can be released at any time in the plugin under "License". Every downloaded copy of the Software carries an identifier of your license.
2.3 Videos you create with the Software belong to you. The Provider claims no rights to them.
2.4 You may not: pass on, sell, rent or publish the Software or license keys; circumvent the license check or remove the license identifier; modify, reverse-engineer or incorporate parts of the Software into your own products, except where mandatory law permits it (Section 40e Austrian Copyright Act).
2.5 You may freely share presets you created yourself. Included presets and bonus presets (Studio Rank) are part of the Software and may not be distributed separately.

3. REQUIREMENTS AND THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS
3.1 The Software is an add-on for DaVinci Resolve Studio (Blackmagic Design Pty. Ltd.). Resolve Studio and, if used, ReelSmart Motion Blur (RE:Vision Effects, Inc.) are not included and must be licensed separately. The Software is an independent product and is not affiliated with these manufacturers.
3.2 System requirements: macOS and DaVinci Resolve Studio version 21.1 or later (not the free version of DaVinci Resolve). A Windows version is currently not part of the purchase. Future Resolve versions may change functionality; the Provider will make reasonable efforts to adapt promptly.

4. UPDATES AND LICENSE CHECK
4.1 The Software verifies the license with Lemon Squeezy and downloads updates from the Provider's update server. For this, the license key, activation ID and IP address are transmitted (details: privacy policy). Bug reports via "Report a Bug?" are only sent when you submit them yourself.
4.2 After activation the Software works for up to 14 days without an internet connection; after that a short online check is required.
4.3 Updates are provided for as long as consumers may reasonably expect under applicable law (Austrian Consumer Warranty Act, VGG), and for at least 12 months after purchase.

5. WARRANTY
5.1 Consumers keep their statutory warranty rights; these terms do not restrict them.
5.2 The Software modifies Fusion compositions and timeline items in your Resolve projects. Please back up important projects before editing them. Changes can be undone in the plugin via "History".

6. LIABILITY
6.1 The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury.
6.2 For slight negligence the Provider is not liable towards businesses; towards consumers only insofar as liability cannot be excluded by law and – where permitted – limited to the purchase price paid.
6.3 For data loss the Provider is only liable for the effort that would have been needed to restore the data had you made regular backups.

7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The purchase is made through Lemon Squeezy. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal expires (Section 18 (1) no. 11 Austrian Distance Selling Act, FAGG) once you have expressly agreed that supply begins before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

8. TERMINATION
The license ends automatically if you breach Section 2.4 or if the purchase is reversed (e.g. refund or chargeback). The license key is then deactivated.

9. FINAL PROVISIONS
9.1 Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and conflict-of-law rules. For consumers this applies only insofar as it does not remove mandatory protection under the law of their country of residence.
9.2 Place of jurisdiction for businesses is Linz, Austria. For consumers the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
9.3 Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
